Hi, I'm Lesley
With 40 years in Hairdressing, two salons and 20 years teaching behind me, I know this world from the inside.
I know what it feels like to be fully booked and still not know where the money went.
I know the loneliness and the late night thoughts.
In my first salon I had to think quick about how to get clients and in the second one, realised I needed to think beyond the clients I had, for the business to survive.
From this, I put together what I learned and developed my own systems to create a successful business.

When Sarah first came to me she was running on empty, still working part-time at a supermarket to keep things afloat, while she was building her Beauty business from a rented room. Her husband juggles studying at college with being at home with their three-year-old.
Every week Sarah felt busy and every week felt like she wasn't actually making money. She didn't have a structure. She didn't know her numbers. She had set her prices by looking at what seemed fair and hoping it would work out.
What changed for Sarah wasn't motivation. It was clarity.
Once she could see what she actually needed to charge, the guilt around raising her prices fell away. She actually said 'Omg, I need to put my prices up' , which made it feel less like she was asking too much. Her business wouldn't last, never mind grow without that price increase.
Once she had a structure to build on, she could start making decisions instead of just reacting. And, once you know you are making money, other things are easier to deal with.
She is still doing the work. The emotional feeling behind saying the price you want does not disappear overnight. But the direction is clear now
