A note from Lesley
Hello. I am Lesley.
I have spent 40 years in the hair industry. First behind the chair, then running two of my own salons, and for the last 18 years teaching at college level at Dundee and Angus, Scotland.
In all those years, I have watched the same thing happen again and again.
Bright, capable practitioners come out of their training able to do beautiful work and then quietly struggle for years with the business side because nobody ever showed them how it actually works.
I built the Business Clarity Room because I am tired of watching that gap stay open. I built The Clarity Blueprint because the people in our industries deserve better than scattered tips, generic templates, and advice written by people who have never stood behind a chair or rented a treatment room.

You will learn how to describe what you do in language that speaks to a client, not a colleague. You will identify the one motivation that brings your best clients to you. You will build a Clarity Caption a three-line description of your work that brings the right people in. And you will choose where to show up online without exhausting yourself trying to be on every platform.
2. Be Valued
What do I charge?
You will calculate your survival hourly rate using a step-by-step pricing formula. You will build a written price list in your client’s language, with tiered pricing where the work varies. You will design a client journey that turns first appointments into loyal regulars. And you will learn the dynamic consultation that makes every client feel genuinely seen.
3. Be In Demand
How do I put it all together?
You will choose the right business structure for where you are now. You will set up a simple digital recording system using the same approach HMRC’s new Making Tax Digital rules expect. You will put the essentials in place, insurance, terms and conditions, deposit and cancellation policy, data protection, a proper booking system. And you will plan the next twelve months of your business honestly, on a single page.

How the programme works
The Clarity Blueprint runs over twelve weeks. The teaching is delivered online so you can watch when it suits you between clients, early morning or after the children are in bed.
Each week you receive:
• One teaching lesson of around fifteen to twenty minutes, pre-recorded, accessible on any device at any time
• A workbook task that brings the lesson to life. Practical and focused
• One clear action step: not five things, one thing that you complete that week
Across the twelve weeks you also get:
• An introduction call and three more live support calls to the group, with Lesley. where you can ask questions, share progress, and get personal feedback. Recordings available if you cannot attend live.
• A private group space where you can talk to other practitioners going through the same work alongside you
• Email support between calls. Lesley reads and replies to all messages relating to business and your course, personally

The Founding Group
Group 1 begins Monday 28th September 2026
This is the founding group of The Clarity Blueprint.
Founding groups are different. Places are limited, not as a marketing tactic, but because I want to give every participant proper attention and personal feedback as the programme runs for the first time. Your experience and your questions in this first group will shape every group that comes after.
The founding group price reflects that. It is a meaningful saving on what future groups will pay.

Your Questions Answered
I work full days with clients. When am I supposed to fit this in?
The teaching lessons are short, fifteen to twenty minutes each and pre-recorded so you can watch them at any time of day. The weekly lesson in the workbook are doable steps that can be spread across the week. The action step is one thing, not five.
What if I cannot make the live calls?
There are four live calls and they are recorded. You can watch them later and still post your questions in the group space. The teaching does not depend on being live.
I am not very techy. Will I be able to access the programme?
Yes. The programme is delivered through Systeme.io, which works on any device with an internet connection, a phone, a tablet, a laptop. The interface is straightforward. There is a short welcome video at the start that walks you through how it works.
I am newly qualified in beauty (or nails, or massage, or wellness) is this really for me, or is it mostly for hairdressers?
The programme is built for any one-to-one client-based service industry. The principles, clarity on who you are for, honest pricing, a client journey, business structure are the same across all our industries. The worked examples include hair, beauty, nails, holistic and wellness throughout. You will recognise yourself.
What if I decide the programme is not for me?
There is a 14-day cooling-off period from your start date. Within that window, you can request a full refund, no questions, no awkwardness. I would rather you took the work seriously and made an informed decision than felt locked in.
I have done online courses before that I never finished. Why would this be different?
Two reasons. First, because it is guided learning, not a self-paced course. You start with other practitioners. You move through the work together. There is a structure that supports you. Second, because the action steps are deliberately small, one specific thing each week. The whole programme is built to be completable by busy practitioners with real working weeks.
Can I join Group 1 if I am not technically newly qualified, say, two or three years in?
